I've seen the new gamecom 307... love it but its not GREAT

Why cant gamecom take the DSP 655 headset and make it better..

change the earcups frop the 655 coz it is horrid...

and fix the feedback of the mic..

and you will make tons of money from that headset.. coz is cheap around 50bucks... and its gamecom..

the only headset that i still use until now is the gamecompro 1 / dsp 500....

yes until now... i have 777, dsp 655, gamecom 307,

still the one i favour is the gamecom pro 1....

please gamecom... i hope that you can fulfill my wish.

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll check into the feedback issue you mentioned with the mic. Do you get feedback all the time, or only when using specific applications or games? Or, only when talking with specific people?

Often times people hear echo not from the headset, but due to a problem with the far-end caller's PC/speaker/mic configuration -- they need to be using a headset too. For example, when using built-in PC mic and speakers, their mic pics up your voice as it's played through their speakers, and then you hear your own voice it coming back to you in a bizarre echo. They don't hear the echo, so they're unaware of the problem. Is that the type of feedback that you're hearing?

What change would you recommend to the ear cups? What makes the DSP500 / GameCom Pro 1 your favorite?

The mic feedback on the plantronics 655 will only be hearable if my mic volume is really high... like above 50%... so i had to lower it so i dont hear myself breathing. So i will have to talk louder all the time. That doesnt really bothers me.. coz i like to shout in games.

But the problem is the earcups...it hurts after about more than 1 hour sitting in your head.... oh and the usb on the 655 is too big, you need to slim it a little or put a little space.. i can hardly connect my mouse on a laptop if i plug in my dsp 655.. something you want to consider changing

what i like about the dsp500 / gamecom pro 1 is almost perfect in everything.. maybe you can improve the mic a little... i like the dsp 655 mic.. where it automatically mutes when the mic is up... but the ear cups and the model of the dsp 500 / gamecom pro 1 is perfect.. can sit 5-6 hours on that thing even more.. and also please bring back the huge sound card that comes with you old dsp line... that sound card is very useful for some games. oh yes and virtual 7.1 surround sound like u did for the 777.... If you take a look at a brand called the roccat kulo... that is totally plantronics signature> comfortable, mic mutes when goes up, on ear headset, but the problem with roccat the price and the mic is not as good as plantronics,
