Update GameCom 780 Driver

It seems the one thing lacking from the driver is the ability to adjust the Bass/Treble settings. I'd love to see the Gamecom 780 driver updated to include Bass and Treble sliders. It wouldn't necessarily have to even be a full equalizer, since that is usually overkill for headphones. Possibly with the ability to save settings to a premade custom profile. This way you could have radio buttons for Game/Movie Mode, Music Mode, and Custom Profile Mode to easily switch back and forth.

That's a great suggestion. I don't think having this kind of customization for headphones is overkill. Equalization done right makes a world of difference to my ears; Like more bass for games, or more balance for particular genres of music. The current driver doesn't support that at the moment, but in the mean time existing programs that can do equalization based on the open program on your computer. I use SRS Audio Essentials.

I actually tried using SRS Audio Essentials and found that it seemed to interfer with the built in 7.1 matrix of the GameCom 780 headset. It seems to try to do too much. I really wish Plantronics would come out with a better driver for these, since they're great headphones.

Disclaimer These are by far the best headset I've ever owned and I love them (better sounding than bose) but on occasion i get an issue with the audio reversing, getting sound coming from the left when it should be coming from the right etc. Anyone else have this issue? and is there a driver update to fix it? I did a quick fix which I unplugged and re-plugged the headset in did a quick test on windows and it worked fine, but in game haven't done tried it yet, bf3 is most noticeable. plus anyway to download the drivers online, cause i can't find my disc that came with them. Thanks for the help!

I noticed this a few times on the old driver but I haven't noticed it at all since updating to Release 2. If you haven't done that already, you might try that or try uninstalling/reinstalling the driver.
